  1. Thanks J. There is no upside to hearbreak of course. but I can still appreciate, intellectually, that I will not have to call the Rangers tools of a demented despot, or the Wings limping decrepit exhaust breathers. and can hope detachedly for the Sens or the Original Six whoever. Serious study is no fun,. but who needs or deserves fun? Not a Leafs National \, it is clear.
  2. But we sure liked what we knew. They were gallant. Heads should be held high starting next season.
  3. Leafs !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!************************ Daunce/Carol Beside myself
  4. Unfortunately Rask played like Rask can. The best thing about last night was the anthem singer. Now that's what I call an Irish tenor. And the big smile and salute at the end...way to go. Still, we cannot now be shut out or swept! And at least unlike Habs/ASens, our venues are not turning into the Plains of Abraham. The Wilders are lifting my heart. I am so pulling for them, and not just because we need somebody to bell the big Chi cat. Can it be that Atlas has finally hit me after all these years? Nice aim, Jonathan!
  5. Thanks for the background Adam, "My name is O'Hanlon, I've just gone sixteen" was the only version I ever heard until I clicked on your video!
  6. lol and up yer kilt, Adam! With or without Ford.
  7. How apt. You know that this song is a straight steal from "The Patriot Game".
  8. Argumentation is on the side of the big battalions. - God
  9. As it happened, April 28 is my birthday. May 1 was my beloved father's birthday, Eddie's funeral was May 2. Life imitates art always, always.
  10. This is an In Memoriam. Edward Lynam died on April 29, 2002. I am just raging a bit against the dying of his light.
  11. Love knows the time and date And knows to wait, and give all, passing strait the gate. It knows not death, or life, or altered state. We can know less, who are left animate.
  12. Never play poker with a guy called Abe, never eat at a place called Mom's, never believe a writer who Exposes the Truth.
  13. You are right about the treaties of course. Canada was as bad. "O come Riel, and make a stand...here at Batoche, beside the river O nevermind their Gatling guns. If we lose today, we've lost forever"
  14. How so Carol? How so Carol? The Indians (and later the English) were attacking enemies against whom early Americans needed to be armed. That was the context of amendment. The American government, however satanic, does not consider the American populace an attacking enemy aginst its own government. It just doesn't.
  15. Amazingly good marketing, but talk about dropping and chopping context.
  16. It's the illegal means you should worry about. --Brant Ah, Canada--I means, O Canada! I do, Brant, I do worry. Nearly all the illegal guns that kill gang members, and others just for the hell of it, come here from the US, at a nice markup.Capitalism in action/ See the recent Star series about this perversion of the underground railroad. About being killed by legal hunting rifles such as the one I own I am not worried. Stop making the damn handguns and assault weapons, would you [please? A 5 yo just killed his 2 yo sibling with his gift .22 rifle left with a chambered bullet. How dare you own even a hunting rifle?! Teenager + whiskey + car keys = vehicular mayhem. Solution: all whiskey bottles must be registered unless the bottles are labeled "Whisky". --Brant rye whiskey, rye whiskey, rye whiskey I cried, if I don't get rye whiskey I think I will die Nae, ye will live if ye just get back to your weavin' -Nancy W.
  17. See the video in the article... A... Hilarious, as was Wyshinski's commentary. I guess this settles the question of training abstaining once and for all.
  18. No, he didn't He only wanted the gun to make it look like someone else killed her, so he could collect her insurance. Knifing or strangling would have cast suspicion on him. as was deposed in excluded testimony.
  19. I took two qucki tests and came up INTP both times... surprised to see they say it is only 5% of the population....I thought we were everywhere
  20. Here is an anecdote, not a datum or support of any theory, just something I happen to know firsthand. A student of mine was seriously abused by her husband. By that I mean he imprisoned her in a room, deprived her of clothes, regularly raped and only allowed out of the house to attend ESL class, if she didn't he could not collect her welfare payments. He escorted her to the classes and collected her afterwards. I was the one who called the police and I had to testify at his trial. I heard later that his brother-0in-law said that he had tried to buy a gun to kill her, but the deal fell through, it is hard to get guns here, comparatively. She is still alive, not dead.
  21. A rather childish and emotional view - I gather you really don't have a clue about firearms. Not unexpected. Dennis You are right Dennis,I have few clues about firearms. I have only a childish emotional feeling that they do not belong in my country in the hands of civilians. I also have a childish impression of the differences between my country and yours. in this regard. And an adult one.
  22. Do you actually believe that if you erected a fifty (50) foot wall across the entire border that it would stop handguns from filling the demand by your criminal population? Can liberals actually be this blind to the laws of supply and demand? That was exctly my point Adam, no walls will stop the illegal guns from coming here to kill Canadians. Just cut it out OK?
