caroljane
Daunce,I don't know who the billionaire is. And it's a good thing, too. If I knew, I would start sucking up to him and forum morale would get shot all to hell.MichaelIt's Phil Coates isn't it? That's why everybody keeps begging the old misery to come back. Before you tell me, and you know you will eventually, I'd just like to mention that I have long admired Mr. Coates's erudition and integrity, and I led my class in high school Latin. Xray
So, XRay==do you like hockey players?I must admit I know so little about hockey that I had to google "Xray + hockey" to find a connection. I'm from Germany where soccer is the number one sport, and do recall a few 'crushes' I had on some soccer players in my teenage years ... So Xray is the brand name of a hockey helmet. Well, I really need a "virtual helmet" here at times to protect me against the comments from Mr. Selene, who I see is at it again: I heard that she has a stick fetish, or maybe it was a stickiness fetish...Tsk, tsk, Mr Selene. Keep in mind that Mrs. Daunce believes you are a gentleman. But such blatantly phallic comments like the one above are not gentleman-like at all. So can't you at least ty to fit the gentleman-profile a bit more? ;) [Daunce: never mind Selene, who often acts as some kind of forum jester here. He likes to dish it out, but can also take it, one has to give him that.] I am probably an altruist but don't tell anybody, my reputation is bad enough around here already.I promise to keep my mouth shut about it and don't tell anybody here that you are an altruist. Nor will I tell anybody here that I am probably an altruist as well. OK, so I was just pretending to know the billionaire's name to attract more women. Who could it be? I'll try a different approach and ask which type of billionaire would fit the profile suited for Objectivist values and virtues. I think we can elmininate all billionaires with an altruistic streak, you know, Tolstoy-like types who think of money as a vice, who would prefer to give their wealth away because they actually hate their money. No, we are looking for a billionaire type who loves his dough, and who is proud of it. He also has to be a capitalist through and through, and a hard-working one at that. Not a rich-heir playboy type who squanders his dad's hard-earned billions, for that would make him a parasite. No, it has to be a billionaire who has earned it all by himself, who has never asked a favor of anyone, a true from rags to riches type. Hmm ... oh, I think I know who it is!! Rolling in money, literally. The only problem is that he is a real tightwad, and a confirmed bachelor as well. But then nobody's perfect. He even was - fasten your seatbelt: Named the #1 Richest Character in Forbes magazine's Top 15 Richest Characters in 2007. http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Scrooge_McDuck So the trail leads straight to --- Duckburg!! Here he is rolling in money (scroll down a bit): http://hyaroo.livejournal.com/23629.html But I'll get it out of Michael yet, I'm already starting to wear him down.I don't think any of us will ever find out under which nick Scrooge McDuck is registered here. He's way too smart to give any clues. Edited January 26, 2011 by Xray
caroljane
I didn't know there was an XRay hockey helmet! I was enquiring for my son, the single one with the good job, who is an ardent player. What a coincidence! He plays soccer too in the summer. Doesn't soccer give men the best legs of all the sports? Have you ever considered coming to Canada and enrolling in medical school?

Or maybe I was referring to the debunked global warming hockey stick graph as schtick, since this thread has been rather humorous and satirical.Adam

caroljane
There is emphatically no truth to the unsubstantiated rumours that there is a "toy boy" "sugar mama" relationship of any kind between anyone on this thread or on this forum that you have ever heard of.Furthermore everyone states on behalf of everyone that "toy boy" is a statement deeply derogatory to men and we repudiate it utterly. Brant Gaede
That's really your girlfriend, Adam? I want to copy that two-handed grip. Decades ago a Chinese guy who learned kung fu from the guy who instructed Bruce Lee and learned a two-handed grip taught to the Hong Kong police taught me it. It was incredibly stable, but I forgot it. (He was an illegal. Three non-Chinese tried to mug him in Queens and he took them all down. Consequently, various NYC Chinese gangs tried to recruit him. To get away from that, he moved upstate and worked in various restaurants. I last saw him in 1989. I hope he went back to Hong Kong for the greater economic opportunities that soon started appearing there.)--Brant

However, the two hand "military" grip with proper foot placement was the way I was taught since I was about 9 or 10.Man can that lady shoot. The first clip she fired at the back targets with the 9mm (? ) was excellent form and accuracy. He's way too smart to give any clues. We can but try! (It's a snow day here and I don't want to catch up on chores). I think you are on to something with the essential profile. Now, considering that aliases are said to keep the original initials of the person, or reflect some aspect of their real lives, let's examine the crucial surname. McDuck. What suspects do we have? The intriguing Mr. McKeever, coy boytoy wannabe -- a decoy move on his part?Ba'al, who expressed an interest in eating haggis and thus could be considered "Mc"KolkerBob Mac and Joel MacDonald are out unfortunately. caroljane
(more targeted approach)I no longer care who's designing it, but I think Kate should wear a gown with a medieval-type gold-and-blue overskirt to tone in with William's uniform and revolutionize wedding gear (tho Catherine Clark did it first with her red-and white) and make Britannia cool again.I only care about fashion when royals get married and my own gown cost $13 off the rack and was picked out by someone else, but I love weddings. Uh, also philosophy of course, and money.Browsing ladies, are you in?
Michael Stuart Kelly
Daunce,There is some misunderstanding. I was referring to Paul McKeever, the Randroid wannabe Cannucklehead who single-handedly tried to make a new world holliday called "Reason's Harvest." (If I remember correctly, the moderator's comment on deleting his Wikipedia entry on this was: "Good Lord!" )I think h also helped set up some kind of Objectivist political party in Canada.Look him up. He's quite a character. As to that other issue you are so interested in, the best way to deal with the wanting is to keep wanting...Michael
