GALTGULCH8
In today's Wall Street Journal, Arthur Laffer has an article entitled: The Real Stimulus Record, in the Opinion Section.http://online.wsj.co...Opinion_LEADTopIn it he shows that the prior Obama efforts to stimulate the economy with his stimulus packages have been profoundly ineffective and that there is no evidence to justify another similar effort.I imagine that someone in the Obama administration does read the WSJ but wonder if such a person has the audacity to confront Obama with articles like this. Of course it is also conceivable that no one in his circle of advisors reads the WSJ rather feeds him whatever he already believes.
9thdoctor
Laffer's a hack. This is too easy, but here goes: what a laughingstock.
GALTGULCH8
Laffer may have been wrong in his debate with Peter Schiff but if you read his WSJ article you will see that his argument against another "stimiulus" is correct. You do seem to delight in finding fault and that is easy enough to do. The fact that Ayn Rand chose to smoke cigarettes, which shortened her life, does not detract from her competence and creativity in other areas. 9thdoctor
Trouble is Laffer's credibility is toast. I'd rather someone else made the case.
