The Fog of War

The exponential growth in the "conspiracy theory" industry seems to be in part

an orchestrated effort to confuse those who are new to political thought.

When waging a disinformation campaign having a noisy background will keep

many from being able to see patterns that would otherwise be obvious to all.

Misdirection and disinformation have been part of the Art of War since the

evolution of predator and prey. With many in the US realizing financial and

political collapse is imminent there is a fevered pitch out there to find the right

answers - right now. The sense of urgency leaves many vulnerable to the

intellectual equivalent of “get rich quick schemes”.

Most Americans are not accustomed to thinking in terms of political/military

strategies in their everyday lives. The public education system has been

sugar coating collectivism and downplaying and denigrating the foundations

of freedom since the rise of Progressivism.

Sadly the "conspiracy theory" industry has claimed as its victims a few friends

of mine along the way and even relatives. One former friend was a good

poster on the original Atlantis and OWL but I had to cut ties once he went

off the deep end. I am trying to save a relative who has gone off the deep

end but not sure I will be able to.

Glenn Beck has noted the strong attempts by government officials and their

collectivist media stooges to pigeon-hole him into the noise of “conspiracy

theory” activists. I have become convinced that much of that noise is in

fact a creation of collectivist government officials and their supporters designed

precisely to create the Fog of War necessary to enable their collectivist goals.

Excellent post Dennis.

Changing the font would help Carol, you know how myopic those Northern Canadian Socialists can be...

The latest effort to discredit those skeptical of Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming makes them all out to be conspiracy theorists.

I find this effort particularly absurd when believers in CAGW so often claim that they would have no opponents, unless they were being funded by Exxon Mobil and the Brothers Koch.

Damn doublequote again -- well, when I finally see something I guess I see it twice.

Like the wealthy with money - typical socialist - thinking you can tax them twice as much...

If Exxon Mobil or the Koch brothers are paying me I haven't seen the check yet. I am surprised that more people involved in computer

modeling don't come out and call it BS. I know there aren't many people involved in Hydrocodes out there but surely those involved simpler

codes like fluid modeling or E&M can see it is pure BS.

Philosophers of science with a clue should be able to see it is pure BS when every opportunity to do field experiments is avoided.

CAGW is now called ACC -- anthropogenic climate change. This revision allows the ecophreaks to blame the industrialists if climate changes to warmer or cooler. No matter what happens, blame the industrialists and the capitalists.
