I saw this last night, I'm not sure if it's such a bombshell or not. It doesn't outrage or even surprise me, but I seem to have the immunity of a plague survivor.

Meanwhile, here's a neat clip I caught on OO:

Different subject, I know...

Dennis:

Thank you, from the bottom of my mind and heart.

This is an astounding piece of evidence.

I will make full use of this;

To complement the video Dennis embedded, here is the transcription of Barbara Bellar's sentence about Obamacare.

It is hilarious:

So let me get this straight. (This is a long sentence.)

We’re going to be gifted with a healthcare plan we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don’t,

which puportedly covers at least 10 million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,

written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn’t understand it,

passed by a Congress that didn’t read it but exempted themselves from it,

and signed by a president who smokes,

with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes,

for which we will be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted social security and medicare,

all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and

financed by a country that’s broke.

So, what the blank could possibly go wrong?

I wish I lived in her district. She would get my vote on the basis of that sentence alone.

Glad to hear it. I was taken with the accent, but other than that this was, to me, like a video of Carter saying he likes peanuts.

So. this racist President is finally exposed.

We truly deserve what we get...I saw that this man was a racist, marxist person back in 2007-8.

We have now experienced 3 1/2 years of his racist administration. So, let's make this election an issue of black and white which this excuse for a President has staked out.

Done deal.

Let's vote racially since that is the way President Incompetent's world view is...

I don't want to open a new thread just for this comment, so here is as good a place as any.

Since there is the first Obama-Romney debate tonight, I just watched about 20 minutes of the Oct. 28, 1980 Reagan-Carter debate on a whim. I swear, the issues can transposed to today with minimal editing. Even Carter's excuses are cookie-cutter perfect for Obama's.

See for yourself. Sorry, embedding is disabled, so I can only give a link.

Obviously, nobody wants to watch the whole thing anymore, so jump around. It's weird how current it is.

Can I shout out an Amen brother? I was up near the BayBridge leading to DC and Baltimore earlier today and I put the radio on a Baltimore PBS station. The woman interviewer and the man being interviewed were both black. The man was quite a historian of the Republican Party going back to the time of Goldwater. He knew the RNC’s history, platforms, past Senators from most of the states and their positions.

Man was this guy a racist. He said things like, the modern Republican Party are a bunch of thugs. No where do we find moderates like former NY mayor Lindsey, Sarbanes from Maryland, Rockefeller, etc. now all we have are a gang of vile, white racists from the Tea Party and Mitt Romney has his marching orders.

On the way back I listened to Rush and heard about our Racist President’s remarks from 2007.

Er, you guys are always saying the Democrats are a bunch of thugs and have their marching orders from Marx if not Satan himself. Does that make you racists?

No, it means we use bourgeois logic instead of proletarian logic. We're ruling class toadies, not racists. And besides, we can't help it.

Honest criticism is hard to take, particularly from a relative, a friend, an acquaintance, or a stranger. -- Franklin P. Jones

Some thoughts from the EIB Network just a few minutes ago:

Rush just said that Obama came off worse in his debate with Romney than he did in his debate with Clint Eastwood. Barrack was rambling and looking for a thought all night long. He needs shielding from criticism and requires a teleprompter or he recites sound bites to sound coherent. Substance and ideas were discussed last night by Romney. His liberal critics speculate that the Messiah, Obama was adversely affected by the altitude. Why was he not prepared, they ask? Rush says Obama was never prepared. He is an agitator. He was never prepared and he is not prepared now for the Presidency. His path to college, law school, the senate and the Presidency was always greased by socialist / communist / progressives.

I would like to know what Michelle whispered to him when she came on stage.

ND, This was like the Body Snatchers, or something. The gesticulations, the lip-smacking,

but most of all, the sonorous tones of Martin Luther King.

What a chameleon he is. Should've been on stage...
