George H. Smith
My latest YouTube discussion with Marilyn Moore. The "bloopers" at the end are probably the best part. Ghs
9thdoctor
From the point of view of the likes of David Silverman, the War on Christmas is a great source of free publicity. Just watch Billo the Clown making an ass of himself, it's YouTube gold. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8gO-VTaOwU Meanwhile it must be playing well with the Fox News audience, otherwise they wouldn't be covering it. A win-win. Are there any modern day Puritans who object to celebrating Christmas? Maybe they could team up with American Atheists on these issues. Talk about strange bed-fellows. anthony
Ha! I knew that straight face was too good to be true. The joys of editing!I cater to the "laid-back" approach as well - as atheist facing religious holidays. Some atheists feel quite threatened...Somehow reminds me of a US journalist writing back at the start of smoking bans: "Oh America of the new Prohibition, let's make a deal - you lighten up a little more, and I'll light up a little less."(Who was that again?) BaalChatzaf
Same here. I am starting to believe in Global Warming. There was little doubt of a warming trend (which has being going on since the end of the last Ice Age) The issue is what are the major drivers and causes?Ba'al Chatzaf
