Peter Posted February 23, 2014 Share Posted February 23, 2014 Solar time and standard time don't match? The few clear areas match so it looks like "good" local time is random. If you drive across country you can cross a state line and gain or lose an hour. That is not sensible. If you lived on the line and you were hungry but it was not yet dinner time you could go across the line and have dinner. Obviously this would be a problem for people with eating disorders.
