Selene
Lol - I would have taken 20-1 to 50 - 1 because the chances of coming back were there, however, the blown onside kick was really way out of any probabilities of most folks.Joe - we made our picks on September 1st when everyone was 0-0 right?A...basking in his prognosticating power!!!! Selene
Joe:I just ran across this video while I was looking for a rectangular grid to print for the game.I "chart" every super bowl.At any rate, I stumbled across this about odds and those box polls people get into at clubs, bars, churches, VFW, office pools:http://www.ehow.com/video_12260336_calculate-football-square-odds.htmlHas good info on the math.A...Seattle just moved to - 1 which means a whole bunch of money came in late on Seattle to move it from Patriots -1 a full two (2) points. It was just announced on WFAN in NY which is the largest full sports station in America.

Francisco Ferrer
You Should Watch the Super Bowl, You’re Paying for ItBy Jared Meyer | 01/29/2015Before the Super Bowl this Sunday, one winner is already determined—local New England Patriots fans. NFL owners are professionals at extracting taxpayer money from local fans to fund generous subsidies for their lavish stadiums, and the NFL is tax-exempt. But Patriots owner Robert Kraft took a different, more taxpayer-friendly, approach and arranged 100 percent private funding for the construction and maintenance of Gillette Stadium, located outside Boston. In contrast, the public’s share of financing for the Seattle Seahawks’ CenturyLink Field was 64 percent ($300 million). In this competition, the Patriots won by an even larger margin than they did against the Indianapolis Colts. Local Seahawks fans are not just paying for CenturyLink Field—they are still paying for the team’s last home field as well. The Seattle Kingdome was occupied for just 24 years before the city agreed to build the Seahawks a new stadium. Even though the Kingdome was demolished in 2000, taxpayers were still responsible for nearly $180 million to cover its outstanding debts. The last of the debt will finally be paid off this year.Continued here
Selene
Perfect football weather ...On the field 22 minutes before kickoff...- 5 degrees actual and - 21 degrees with the wind chillI only played two (2) games in five (5) years in those temperature conditions and it is definitely what we called a "mind set" game. The ball is like a rock...A... merjet
It ain't over til it's over, but it seems the bitter cold has turned the Seahawks into Seaslugs. Vikings lead 9-0 after 3 quarters.Update: Seahawks win 10-9 as the Vikings kicker misses a 27-yard field goal with 26 seconds left.

Selene
lolBy the way, I was screaming at the TV for the "I've never won a playoff game" coach of the Cincinnati "Choking" Bengals, who, by the way have not won a playoff game in two and a half decades, to put his emotionally uncontrolled and undisciplined player #55 on the bench after the interception and keep him there because he would cost them the game...my friends think I have a crystal ball....A...
