George H. Smith
Prometheus has designed a new cover for Atheism: The Case Against God. This reissue will also include a brief foreword by the theoretical physicist Lawrence M. Krauss. I was asked by Prometheus whether I would be interested in revising the book in any manner. That is unrealistic, given my current writing schedule, but I might consider writing a Critical Epilogue in which I explain what I would change in ATCAG after 42 years. That kind of self-critique would prove an interesting addition, but I can't afford to write for free nowadays, and I don't know whether Prometheus would be willing to pay for a new Epilogue. We shall see.....Ghs
Brant Gaede
You commented a long while back on why you'd not do a rewrite or revision. I think it had something to do with the crazy writing and unique publishing history.--Brant
9thdoctor
I lent out my copy many years ago, and never got it back. This'll give me a good reason to buy it again. Here's hoping they shell out a sufficient sum for an Epilogue. Krauss, eh? Big name nowadays.

Krauss, but I guess he likes ATCAG okay if he agreed to write a foreword. This surprised me somewhat, given the heavy emphasis on Rand in my chapters on epistemology and ethics.Ghs

The "look inside" feature on Amazon goes to the old version, so I can't check. https://www.amazon.com/Atheism-Case-Against-Skeptics-Bookshelf/dp/1633881970/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8

I think it's pretty interesting. Ghs
