Michael Stuart Kelly
I used to regularly follow a writing blog called The Bookshelf Muse of Angela Ackerman. She was using to blog to compile a list of literary descriptions of emotions and settings. The first grew into a book:The Emotion Thesaurus: A Writer's Guide To Character ExpressionIt's quite good.I just looked at the blog and now she is putting together a bunch of other thesaurases:Physical attributes (for characters)Character TraitsWeather & Earthly PhenomenaColor, Textures and ShapesSymbolismand, of course, Settings is still around. It's a hoot to go through those things if you are in a daydreaming kind of mind.Michael
